Bohemia Interactive Showcases Its Latest Games and Upcoming Releases at Gamescom 2026

 

Bohemia Interactive is showcasing Cosmo Tales, its brand-new third-person roguelite action-adventure inspired by the retro sci-fi aesthetics of the 1970s and brought to life with colorful visuals and fast-paced gameplay. Developed internally by Bohemia Interactive, the game follows Cosmo and Shifty as they travel through a universe of strange and unique dimensions.

At Gamescom, journalists can get an exclusive hands-on look at the game ahead of its Early Access launch on September 3, as well as a first look at the game's plans for the future. The development beyond the initial Early Access release includes work on additional platforms, new playable vehicles, further story content focused on Cosmo and Shifty, new features and tools to enhance replayability, additional challenges and enemies, and the possibility of local co-op in the future. Future updates may also expand the soundtrack with additional in-game radio content.

DayZ

DayZ is an unforgiving, open-world multiplayer survival game that continues to evolve as one of the leading sandbox survival experiences. The game maintains a strong and active community, with approximately 250,000 daily active users across all platforms. In 2025, DayZ reached a record peak of more than 650,000 daily active players across all platforms.

At Gamescom, Bohemia Interactive is unveiling more information about the upcoming DayZ Badlands expansion, including an exclusive behind-closed-doors opportunity to go hands-on with its playable PC build. Moreover, the team is also sharing in-depth information about the recent Nintendo Switch 2 version release, as well as plans for the future updates of DayZ.

Everwind

Developed by Enjoy Studio, Everwind is a first-person RPG sandbox survival game that combines exploration, survival, crafting, and adventure across a world of floating islands. The game launched into Early Access on Steam earlier this year, selling more than 260,000 copies and reaching over one million wishlists.

At Gamescom, the Bohemia Incubator team has revealed the upcoming major update: Winds of Creation. The presentation also covers a closer look at Everwind's development journey, as well as future content, such as dedicated servers, modding support, community-driven content, and future plans for consoles.
