Experience a thoughtfully-crafted adventure featuring fully voice-acted dialogue with talents such as Cairn’s Sophia Eleni as Maya, Battlefield 6’s Nezar Alderazi, Assassin's Creed Mirage’s Laila Alj, Split Fiction’s Ben Turner, Talal Karkouti, and more.
Explore the incredible House of Wisdom and discover its endless wonders as Maya, a curious and determined 14-year-old girl searching for answers after her father's passing. Meet a cast of historical real-world scholars from the Islamic Golden Age, each with a wealth of knowledge to share, and many lessons to learn as they navigate their own mourning.
Using an ancient heirloom left behind by Maya’s father, solve physics-based puzzles representative of her journey. Transmute objects through different states of matter, glide through wind channels to traverse each scholars’ distinct realm, bend light through glass, and much more.
Join Maya on her journey through the Mystic Realm, as she comes closer to finding inner peace and healing. However, the road will not be without its struggles. She must overcome a strong, surreal force embodying unmanaged sorrow known as the Widow to achieve her true goals.
This emotional tale was crafted by a team of industry veterans such as Grammy and BAFTA-winning Composer, Austin Wintory (Journey, Sword of the Sea, and The Pathless), as well as the Senior Level Designer for Star Wars: Battlefront, Mass Effect, and Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood; a Programmer for Life is Strange, and more.
“So many of us have experienced the overwhelming feeling of loss in one way or another,” said Faris Attieh, Creative Director, Lunacy Studios. “The Widow character acts as a physical manifestation of those complex emotions, and represents the urge we’ve all felt to push them aside. Her inclusion is just one of many elements we’ve incorporated into this immersive and hopeful journey.”
The House of Hikmah is now available on PC via Steam for $19.99/€19,50/¥2,300, featuring English and Arabic text and voiceover localization. For more information, visit the official website
