DRAGONKIN: THE BANISHED IS NOW AVAILABLE IN ITS 1.0 VERSION

NACON and the Parisian studio Eko Software are proud to announce today the release of Dragonkin: The Banished in its final version. After a period of early access on Steam, the game has been enhanced with several major updates. These evolutions, guided by the community, have notably introduced vast environments, a new character, and an online cooperation mode for an ever more authentic experience, available today for all players.

Building on its experience and its strong taste for the Hack’N’Slash genre, the small team at Eko Software has designed a game that incorporates the standards of the genre while bringing unique features that will appeal to its fans.

The studio invites players to explore a medieval fantasy world devastated by hordes of corrupted creatures and dominated by colossal dragons, and to embody one of four Hunters, humanity's ultimate bulwarks. Their adventure will lead them into hostile lands to annihilate the draconic threat.

Four Unique Heroes: Play as the Ranger, the Barbarian, the Oracle, or the Knight, each with their own skills and combat archetypes.
Specialization via Dragonkin: Tame a baby dragon of Fire, Ice, Poison, or Lightning that will act as a subclass, offering unique powers.
Deep Customization: Create endless synergies with the Ancestral Grid, an innovative puzzle system where you insert skill "Fragments," which advance your character and their abilities.
A Vast World to Explore: Journey through various biomes, from frozen lands to underwater ruins, and face over 70 types of monsters and 10 formidable bosses.
Co-op for up to 4 Players: Go through the entire adventure with your friends, develop group strategies, and contribute together to the evolution of your shared city.
An Evolving City: The city of Montescail is a social hub that evolves with your progress, unlocking new NPCs, services, and customization options.
A Rich Endgame: Extend the challenge with a multitude of activities, create your own challenges, purify dungeons, and test your character's limits to obtain the best rewards.

Cooperation at the Heart of the Experience

The online cooperation mode (and offline for 2 players) allows groups of 2 to 4 players to unite to face the main story and the endgame content. Thanks to mutual aid mechanics, such as the ability to revive a teammate and a "Catch-up" system allowing friends to play together regardless of their level, the adventure takes on a new dimension when played with others.
