STARS OF NFL AND NBA TAKE ON DANIEL RICCIARDO AND THE EA SPORTS F1 22 CIRCUIT OF THE AMERICAS HOT LAP CHALLENGE

Codemasters™ and Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ: EA) are celebrating the FORMULA 1 ARAMCO UNITED STATES GRAND PRIX 2022 by encouraging fans around the world to take on the Ricciardo Hot Lap Challenge on Circuit of the Americas and post their fastest lap. Ahead of the race on Sunday, the game is available as a free weekend trial* across PlayStation®4 and PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam)**. New players can also check out special price promotions offered by platform retailers, with all in-game progress saved from the trial.

EA SPORTS enlisted the driving talents of NFL’s Derwin James (LA Chargers) and NBA’s Patrick Beverley (LA Lakers) to take on the COTA Hot Lap challenge. Coached by Daniel, all three took turns to race the Austin circuit to see if they beat the time of McLaren’s iconic Aussie driver. Players can get a few hot tips on how to tackle COTA from Daniel Ricciardo here.

Players interested in taking on the Hot Lap challenge*** need to jump onto the Austin circuit in Time Trial and share their result using the hashtags #RicciardoChallenge and #F122gameSweepstakes during the race weekend, from October 20-24.
