Michigan couple unveils video game trailer for The Oyster Hotel, a cinematic 3D co-op time travel adventure game set in the 1960s and 1920s.

The Oyster Hotel is a new couch co-op time travel adventure video game set from 1960 to 1920. In the Oyster Hotel you play as Ned, a maintenance man of the hotel who fixes the floods and Julia a radio host and self proclaimed event planner. You also occasionally play as master clock fixers Giuseppe and his wife Vivienne - you can enjoy the game in single player mode as well as co-op.

The plot centers around the strange happenings in The Oyster Hotel - flooding, sleepwalking guests, ghosts, and power outages that cause time travel back to the 1920’s in the same hotel when mobsters ran the town. The gameplay is narrative-driven, fast paced and melodic. The Oyster Hotel has been developed by two people, married couple Elijah and Erin Hamilton from a woodsy corner of Michigan.

The original soundtrack was created by Elijah’s father, Will Hamilton in Missouri near Mark Twain’s boyhood home. The opening theme can be heard in the trailer.

The Oyster Hotel will be released on December 15, 2018. The PC edition of the game is currently up for pre-order on the website at theoysterhotel.com and includes an exclusive bonus level, The Great Cheese Riots.
