Need for Speed Hackathon to Be Held April 7 & 8 With Cash Prizes

On April 7th and 8th, Computer Measurement Group (CMG) will host the Need For Speed hackathon, workshop and coding competition weekend, at the Cambridge Innovation Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Participants will receive access to free speaker sessions and workshops and compete for more than $10,000 in prizes. The event is open to both experienced hackers and novices.

"We are excited for participants to showcase their skills in our challenges related to public transportation and healthcare information technology," said Amanda Hendley, President and Managing Director of Computer Measurement Group. "Additionally, we are offering partner sponsored challenges, which will showcase new tools and technologies that are impacting security as well as web and app development."

Adding to the possibility of cash prizes and other giveaways, participants will receive invaluable feedback and training on their projects and be able to pitch their projects to Boston-area technology leaders. The hackathon is held with support from the Greater Boston CMG chapter and the Boston Performance and Capacity Meetup and participants are encouraged to register online to secure their spot.
